In many businesses, it’s sometimes hard to quantify whether you’ve had a “good day” or not. Have you sold enough? Is your client happy with your services?

You need to be able to show your success, not just tell about it. Having tangible metrics is helpful not only to show your employees that they are on track, but also to show your investors that you are working toward specific goals and going above and beyond to drive the business forward.

So if you don’t have the “hard numbers” to measure success, make some metrics for yourself – something that allows you to check the boxes as you go, so you can look back and see what you’ve accomplished.
